We are a Biggar based building company, that undertake all aspects of construction works in Lanarkshire & Central Scotland. Specialising in new & self builds, extensions, renovations, internal alterations, commercial & agricultural works, driveways and bespoke designs. McCann Builders are NHBC registered and are also members of the Federation of Master Builders.
McCann Builders take pride in the number of houses constructed by traditional building methods, our specialist knowledge in this field is beyond compare. We can construct traditional stonework from sandstone, whin stone through to slate. All our building mortars are designed specifically for use on various types of stone with a raft of alternative colours to fully compliment the stone in a pointed finish.

We can also put you in touch with reputable architects & engineers, who will make your vision a reality. A budget cost for projects can be provided to assess viability before full consents are gained.
We employ our own experienced joinery team who are experts in fitting out homes to the highest standard, from bespoke staircases to show stopping kitchens. We provide full kitchen fit outs and also have the ability to supply and fit selected granite and quartz worktops at discounted prices. Homes can be finished in any desired choice of finish and we have a huge selection of complimentary doors to match.
McCann Builders has a team of plastering professionals who will ensure your project is executed to perfection, offering a skim coating or a tape & fill finish. With a huge range of cornice & coving styles available to us, from simple to elegant designs to complement. Whatever you choose, you will be able to find a perfect match or pretty close at our vetted supplier's show rooms, and we can supply tiles at some of the best prices.
