Services
We are proud to be able to provide NHS and private treatment under one roof. We are always accepting new NHS patients, which means that whatever your treatment needs for yourself and your family, we can do it all right here. If you want to opt for a private treatment we will happily explain all your options and the difference between NHS and private options.
Good oral hygiene is important, and we firmly believe that everyone should have access to good quality, NHS dental services at a reasonable cost. It is important to understand that there are differences between NHS services and those offered privately. For example, our private dental services offer a wider range of treatments and different materials than our NHS services.
We will provide you with a written individual treatment plan and transparent, written treatment costs. NHS treatment is categorised into three bands. Charges apply to courses of treatment rather than each individual item or visit. Additional treatment is provided cost free if it is in the same band (or less) and within two months of completing a course of treatment.
Visiting your dentist every six months for a dental check is essential for optimum oral health. This is because many more people today expect to keep their 'Teeth for Life'. Regular dental maintenance is the best way to achieve this, for the least expense and inconvenience. People don't want to have false teeth in their sixties or seventies.
If you have severe toothache or a chipped/broken a tooth as a result of an accident or an injury, it can be a traumatic experience. It's very important that you see a dentist immediately, even if the tooth is just slightly chipped.
And if you have knocked out a tooth or several teeth, the sooner you are seen by a dental professional the better because there is a chance that the teeth could be re-implanted, depending on the severity of your injury. It's very important that you keep the knocked out tooth clean and avoid handling the root.

After being a patient here for decades I recently had several appointments in a short space of time, including a root canal and a crown with Joanna Giles. It was excellent and I actually looked forward to going due to her not only professional but jovial, happy & friendly demeanor. She is a credit to the practice.

I suffer from hyperhidrosis and never felt comfortable in tight clothing due to sweat marks showing under my armpits! After I'd been for my dental check up with Joanna Giles I booked in to have my armpits treated.. (I didn't realise you could have this sort of procedure done at a dental practice!!) The difference within a few days has been amazing and two weeks on I'm feeling much more confident and sweating has reduced drastically! will definitely be booking in again when I need a top up! thankyou Joanna!!!

After a recent visit to the practice with a child with toothache we were introduced to Dentist Joanna Giles. From entering the room she engaged with my child and listened to the information I had to share. She showed care and compassion to my child and informed him of the next steps to relieve his pain. She allowed me to speak with my child and ensured we where given time to think about what was best for him, not pressurising him and letting him come to his own decision. My child will be returning to see her soon and although he has his worries he has trust in Joanna that she will take care of
