I trained as an Industrial designer at Manchester Metropolitan University, as it is now called, and then worked in London for a several design studios. During this time I designed consumer products for international companies. The nature of this work meant that the process of design to manufacture often took several years.

My experiences provide me with the skills to understand the client's requirements and wishes and then to present them with solutions specific to them and their interiors. My work to date has covered a wide range of client requirements ranging from furniture, including tables, cabinets, kitchens, wardrobes and storage units for private customers.
Services
With the client I'm able to understand what it is that the client wishes and then skillfully design special pieces for specific locations. An eloquent hall table made from maple with inlay decoration of burr walnut, burr maple and ebony lines. On the front is a small inlay drawer. Design to Celebrate the Anniversary of John Cabot's sailing to Newfoundland across the north Atlantic.
With the client I'm able to understand what it is that the client wishes and then skillfully design special pieces for specific locations. An elegant low Side Board made from American Cherry with three slabs of marble for the top. A more sculptural piece inspired by Long John Silver having a boat like screen has a chest attached to it, with a brass X to mark the spot where it is opened to reveal an inside which has been gold leafed.
So often "off the shelf" beds are not what the client wishes. Together the client and I are able to arrive at designs that are specific to the client's wishes and the room itself. A bed made in maple with an inclined headboard and sunken mattress to make it look lighter. A substantial but simple bed with pippy oak planks forming the panels in the head and foot boards.
Together with the client I'm able to create special tailor made designs that incorporate carefully thought through details. All to enhance and facilitate the enjoyment of being in and using the kitchen. A kitchen design with little available wall therefore a sweeping arc of units to achieve a window view from the sink, continuing the line to a deep island unit breakfast bar.
One of the most important areas in an office is the reception area. It sets the atmosphere for the whole working area and reflects on the quality of the organisation itself. Together with the client I'm able to establish exactly what it is that the client wishes to provide in terms of a service and how it wishes its staff to interact.
