Nissi is a contemporary Greek restaurant serving its own interpretation of mezedes using only the freshest ingredients sourced daily from Billingsgate Fish Market, Spitalfields Market and our local butcher. Nissi has been serving guests with our top quality food & drink for over 10 years, we are situated opposite the beautiful Broomfield Park on Aldermans Hill between Palmers Green and Southgate in North London.
Our menu consists of small meze plates, chargrilled meat, seafood, whole fish and plenty of vegetarian options. I am not a review kind of person but I need to just let everyone know that this is the best Greek food and service you will get in London! Don’t bother with anywhere else, I’ve tried them all and ;
1. Every other Greek restaurant in North & East London has moody waiters , owners who act like they are doing YOU a favour by being there. Nissi on the other hand have the nicest, friendly and warm waitresses and owners. You always feel welcome and at home..
2. I have eaten at EVERY Greek restaurant in London and the food at Nissi is quite simply the best ….

Always the best experience whenever I come here, I've been countless times and will continue to come. The fish meze is my favourite thing to order, the menu is always adapting and becoming a better version the previous version.

Went on a Monday evening as part of the 'eat out to help out' scheme. Busy, but still taking practical precautions on social distancing. The food here is really exceptional, everything was better than expected - fresh and beautifully prepared. Staff attentive and efficient. We had the (huge) meze platter for 2 so we could try lots of things. Thoroughly recommend it, especially if it's your first time here, as you get a good selection, and not just the cheap things either - swordfish, crayfish and octopus are all included. Genuine 5 stars.

Wow have not been here for years but people kept on telling me the food was out of this world so my wife and I thought we would give it a try. The restaurants decor is very nice and so were the staff.
We both ordered Mezes as this is what we normally have when we go to any Greek restaurant so that we can compare the different styles and quality of foods that are given to us.

My first mezze and I really enjoyed it! The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. I most enjoyed the grilled octopus. I felt very full even though I've been holding back, but the beautiful rose and pistachio ice creams at the end helped a lot! Service was OK and overall a lovely experience.
