We are situated in Saundersfoot, one of the most attractive places in West Wales. Saundersfoot, with its bustling harbour and vibrant village centre, lies at the foot of a beautiful wooded valley and is blessed with a choice of fine sandy beaches. This well-established resort abounds with watersports, sailing, fishing and boat trips.
Low tide exposes a huge crescent of golden sand and enables beach walks to Amroth and Monkstone point. Close by are several other popular destinations, which offer the best of everything - spectacular uncrowded blue flag awarded beaches, stunning countryside, invigorating walks and numerous attractions.

As a Cal Alumna, I've always wanted to stay at the Claremont. I finally got a chance to take my daughter who just graduated from high school for a mother-daughter trip. We got a signature Bay View room on the 6th floor facing the tennis courts. The room had a musty smell due to the very old wooden building but you get used to it after a while. The views are spectacular though and the separate bathroom tub and rain shower felt luxurious. We both got massages which were top notch. The spa only has locker rooms, showers, bathrooms, steam room, and a large warm jacuzzi.

I understand COVID issues, but this hotel dropped the ball completely. While beautiful, the rooms are technologically still at the beginning of the 21st century with sparse outlets, no desk or work space, and no USB or other charging options. We checked in the day after Xmas only to meet with frigid temperatures inside the hotel public spaces. The minibar was empty, there was minimal coffee service, and worst of all, NO served dining option for breakfast on weekdays, only a chintzy Starbucks-like place with a few seats and stand in line service. Had we known the hotel had no basic food services

Checked in after 9:30pm after an AMAZING visit at William Burke. Went to my room. Got up in the morning and sat at the table for devotion time, looks like the chair has been stitched up awhile ago but the seaming is coming out. The bathroom has a slow drain. Requested late check out but ended up leaving early. The grounds are beautiful.
