This was a great find in the centre of town. We were looking for somewhere to eat with a nice beer garden, where we a family of three could enjoy an afternoon drink. This place was perfect. The staff worked really hard to keep the place clean & their social distancing measures were really well thought out.
We had a really lovely 2 hours here. Tenby House is a must stop destination whenever we go to Tenby. We have been there for just a drink, the whole day to watch a match, for a quick snack or full Sunday lunches. No matter what the occasion or reason, it's a great traditional Welsh pub. The rooms are spotless & clean with ample tea & coffee.

Recommended highly for the quality of accommodation in the guest house and for the food and drinks in the public bar. Lesley is a friendly host and Tenby is a lovely tourist spot with a wonderful beach, historic places to see and castle walls as well as a golf course worth visiting nearby. Tenby House is close to the shops, restaurants and places like Manobir castle, Caldey Island and other spots. Paul Davies

AVOID..... popped in for a drink, was asked to take a seat (table service, totally understandable) was then ignored by the 3 members of staff who were more interested in chatting amongst themselves. For a town that is struggling, like most places are, considering the current situation to attract visitors, this is just not acceptable.

We stayed here for 2 nights on 9 th 10 th of September It was a beautiful kept interesting attractive with great atmosphere of a
very old building .
Our room 205 was a large double room and I mean large with extra big bed very clean .
Number 205 a side room over looking the beer garden .
What was a surprise for us was a balcony,
We had 2 meals here . The afternoon I had burger and chips , very delicious.
My husband had lasagna and chips, he also enjoyed.
The evening meals we had was steak , bit pricey but most prices around here can be more .
Like most places , if you are residential YOU

Excellent in every way. Brilliant location, good atmosphere and comfortable surroundings, high quality reasonably priced food. The staff are friendly and highly professional. Considering the circumstances around COVID, I could see exceptional discipline in hygiene and lots of arrangements in place to keep people safe. I can’t speak for the place as a hotel, but as a place to drink and dine it’s one of the best.

Have been coming here every year for years on our holiday to Tenby, but was disappointed to see the change this year.
No tables were available at 7.35 and staff tried hard to turn us away when we wanted to eat (food finishes at 8pm), very reluctant to allow us to wait to see if a table became available, but eventually allowed us to sit outside. Food was overpriced considering it was very average pub grub (£15/16 for ribs/burgers, £14 for a mushroom risotto.) We're in Tenby, not on the King's Road.
However, what annoyed me the most was the young, lecherous waiter ogling my 16 year-old daughter

In the summer the pub part of this hotel is packed to the rafters, but on a cold wet winters night it was quiet as a graveyard. Its a traditional looking pub inside albeit a cavernous one with nooks and crannies. We had a cosy spot by the window which was perfect for people watching during those rare moments when there was a pause in the conversation. Only three stars from me though because my lager was decidedly room temperature and the beer wasn't so great either. I'm guessing thats down to there not being many customers on the night so the drinks not being pulled sufficiently frequently

This is the ultimate Tenby institution. The New Year's Eve parties at Tenby House Hotel are the stuff of legend, and the place is lively, kooky and full of brilliant Welsh banter.
