Tenby House Hotel
This was a great find in the centre of town. We were looking for somewhere to eat with a nice beer garden, where we a family of three could enjoy an afternoon drink. This place was perfect. The staff worked really hard to keep the place clean & their social distancing measures were really well thought out.

We had a really lovely 2 hours here. Tenby House is a must stop destination whenever we go to Tenby. We have been there for just a drink, the whole day to watch a match, for a quick snack or full Sunday lunches. No matter what the occasion or reason, it's a great traditional Welsh pub. The rooms are spotless & clean with ample tea & coffee.
Services
Tenby House is a proper pub & the character of our bars changes throughout the day & seasons. You've found us. We also have BT Sports to make sure you don't miss out on any of the boxing, test cricket & racing. We are a great place to watch the Six Nations & all the international rugby & football tournaments.

Recommended highly for the quality of accommodation in the guest house and for the food and drinks in the public bar. Lesley is a friendly host and Tenby is a lovely tourist spot with a wonderful beach, historic places to see and castle walls as well as a golf course worth visiting nearby. Tenby House is close to the shops, restaurants and places like Manobir castle, Caldey Island and other spots. Paul Davies

AVOID..... popped in for a drink, was asked to take a seat (table service, totally understandable) was then ignored by the 3 members of staff who were more interested in chatting amongst themselves. For a town that is struggling, like most places are, considering the current situation to attract visitors, this is just not acceptable.

The food is delicious. A large beer garden means there is a lot of space even when Tenby is busy. The food was nicer than it had any right to be. Good range of gins and wines.

Called in for a drink and although it was busy we didn't have to wait for a table. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the table service was good. Nice decor making it feel homely and inviting. A lovely end to our short break away.

Excellent in every way. Brilliant location, good atmosphere and comfortable surroundings, high quality reasonably priced food. The staff are friendly and highly professional. Considering the circumstances around COVID, I could see exceptional discipline in hygiene and lots of arrangements in place to keep people safe. I can’t speak for the place as a hotel, but as a place to drink and dine it’s one of the best.

Lovely food quick service. Only thing was we were asked 5 times is everything OK with your meal. Once or twice is enough to ask that question. If there was something wrong with a meal most people would say if something was wrong.

Have been coming here every year for years on our holiday to Tenby, but was disappointed to see the change this year.
No tables were available at 7.35 and staff tried hard to turn us away when we wanted to eat (food finishes at 8pm), very reluctant to allow us to wait to see if a table became available, but eventually allowed us to sit outside. Food was overpriced considering it was very average pub grub (£15/16 for ribs/burgers, £14 for a mushroom risotto.) We're in Tenby, not on the King's Road.
However, what annoyed me the most was the young, lecherous waiter ogling my 16 year-old daughter

The food was really good however the wait time was around 35 minutes and the service wasn’t great. It seemed like most tables had been forgotten about once they’d had their food, no check back or asking if we wanted more drinks. It served a purpose.

Food was great. Big portions at a very reasonable price. You can sit indoors or outdoors. The outdoor section was huge and totally unexpected. The staff were great and the one who served us helped make our day 😊. They also had a good selection of beers on tap. Well worth a visit.

In the summer the pub part of this hotel is packed to the rafters, but on a cold wet winters night it was quiet as a graveyard. Its a traditional looking pub inside albeit a cavernous one with nooks and crannies. We had a cosy spot by the window which was perfect for people watching during those rare moments when there was a pause in the conversation. Only three stars from me though because my lager was decidedly room temperature and the beer wasn't so great either. I'm guessing thats down to there not being many customers on the night so the drinks not being pulled sufficiently frequently

This is the ultimate Tenby institution. The New Year's Eve parties at Tenby House Hotel are the stuff of legend, and the place is lively, kooky and full of brilliant Welsh banter.

With one of our beloved friends, a would-be DJ at the helm, the family-run Tenby House Hotel is populated by Jacks of all Trade left, right and centre. Really what you're here for is the booze and the atmosphere. The music is always pumping - it might not be your cup of tea but it's loud and it's perfect for a drunken dance. At Christmas the bar really comes alive with the twinkliest of lights and
