Hallwood Furniture was started in 1981 by Graham & Helen Smith. They took over The Old Stables yard in Kettering, Northamptonshire, opening the business as a bespoke joinery company called J.G. Smith Joinery, making windows, doors, and custom woodwork for the people of the surrounding area. The company continued to grow, and in the early 90's the yard was expanded to allow more manufacturing and showroom space.
The joinery company evolved into Hallwood Furniture after a huge demand for handmade kitchens. This became the lifeblood of the company. Handmade Kitchens are the hallmark of Hallwood Furniture, and will continue to be as we grow and expand into 2017. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, and our ability to solve most issues in our clients' homes, big or small.

5 stars is just not enough for the amazing kitchen I now have. From the minute I walked through the showroom doors and meet Graham it was such a brilliant experience. Graham was so helpful and polite, taking me all around the workshop showing me how it was all made. He is so passionate about the company he has build and so he should be.
I have read some of the reviews and they can't be the same man I meet. Nothing was too much trouble.
THANK YOU ALL!

The gentleman in this shop was very rude to us. Just because we were asking for a quote for the insurance he said he did not want to waste his time with us. He reported that he does not deal with insurance claims. The gentleman does not deserve any trade. We went to another kitchen place and they could not be any happier to help us.
