As first time buyers a few years ago, a conveyancer at this firm called Archer's really underwhelmed. Ok, he got us to the finishing line in time to be fair - but wasnt forthcoming with documentation etc. Im not sure whether its normal for purchasers not to be shown the various searches and deeds etc until ready to execute - but that was Archer's position. Im sorry, but buying a house I certainly want to see information as you gather it to make my own interpretations and inform my decisions etc. It seemed this was too much for Archer Rusby, it rendered

Made what should have been a straight forward sale a difficult one.
The lender required the solicitor to call them and request documentation. He actively refused to do so.
The lender could not accept the request from me.
In the end I had to make the call, drive to the office and ask Richard to speak to them.

We recently used Archer Rusby for our house sale and purchase and can honestly say I am blown away by the service we received. You hear so many horror stories of solicitors being hard work to deal with but this is the exact opposite. We dealt with Natasha Brilliant and Leah Hayes who together couldn't have made the process go any smoother. We were always kept well informed and never felt like they weren't doing their best for us. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move house.

Michelle Grant worked on our house sale and was absolutely brilliant! It was a particularly difficult sale, with a long chain and many issues. Throughout the whole process Michelle was professional and worked hard to overcome the obstacles. She was in complete control and helped make a stressful sale much easier. I cannot recommend this solicitors enough, I was very well looked after by Nicky Bevan, she assisted me when selling and buying a property. My sale was more complicated as it also invited a housing association, however Nicky was quick, tenacious, thorough and professional.
