I booked a cab to get to York train station more than 48h before my departure date using the fleetways app. The cab was supposed to pick me up at 6.55am given that my train would leave at 7.19 am. The cab arrived at my place at 7.11, at the same time as another taxi I had to call by way of emergency. I called them repeatedly but I couldn't speak with an operator. And they even had the audacity of texting me that I was not at my address. The entire experience was horrendous as I almost missed my train to Manchester Airport. What do I book in advance for?! We used Fleetways a couple of times before - and these trips were ok - unfortunately today we booked a cab (5hrs earlier) to catch a train... and the driver didn’t show up. Not only that - they didn’t inform us it’s not coming, we had to call ourselves to hear “too much traffic”. Would have missed the train if not a random taxi driver who picked us up half way, as we were running with our suitcases from Acomb. Guess what, not that much traffic after all. Very disappointing.

Ordered a taxi an hour before I needed one and this has happened on multiple occasions, they run 10 minutes late then cancelled I needed to be at work and this happens frequently, il be deleting the app and il never use fleetways again! I EVEN CALLED TO FIND OUT if my taxi was booked and they said YES can't be trusted honestly

Turned up 20 minutes late for a 6.45pm collection, making us late for a table we booked. 12am retutn, turned up 20minutes late yet again. Rang office 11.55 onwards and then several times to see were taxi was and were told driver on way. Freezing fecking cold! Absolute disgusting service.

I am so happy we decided to go with Fleetways for our taxi when we had to go to a wedding in York! Wendy our driver was amazing, it was also our first time in York so she was a semi tour guide for us! And guess what both me and my sister gets very car sick but her driving was smooth as we did not feel sick at all! I cannot recommend fleetways enough 5/5! Ordered a taxi this morning arrived on time. The driver was smartly dressed and his car was clean inside and out. Had a nice chat about York he was very knowledgable about his home city. I would highly recommend Fleetways. Lady’s on the phone very polite and helpful too.
