Audlen House is an outstanding day nursery and pre-school in Thatcham. Opening in 2002, it is one of Thatcham's longstanding day nursery, pre-school and childcare setting. We cater for children from birth to five years old between the hours of 7:45am and 6:15pm Monday to Friday. We also have the luxury of offering term time only or all year round sessions to meet the needs of parents as well as a holiday club for school aged children.

Services
As part of our childcare program, we encourage your child to learn though play. Play helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, which research has shown to be the means by which young children learn to think. At Audlen House Day Nursery we offer the following sessions on an all year round basis or term time only basis.

Felt mistreated because of being on funding hours. When speaking to the manager and Sarah they came across rude and didn’t show interest in my child. Came home with a black eye which was put as unexplained because they couldn’t give a reason for it. Rarely saw photos which were included in price and a video which didn’t include my child. Felt mistreated because young parents and on funding. Really would not recommend. Took him out and going back to his old nursery as the standards are much higher and they show interest in ALL their children.

We are delighted with Audlen House. The staff are so caring and strive to create a warm, nurturing family environment for the children. We are impressed with the attention to detail that goes into planning and providing a wide variety of age-appropriate activities that stimulate and engage the children in learning-based play. The staff are happy and know the children well. Our children love going to Audlen and we have total confidence that their best interests are being catered for. We would highly recommend Audlen to any parent in the Thatcham area.

I cannot praise this nursery enough. My son and daughter were there for 1.5 years and 7 months respectively. The staff is very well trained and really make you feel your child is loved there. They went above an beyond my expectations to cater to our dietary needs and make cultural/religious minorities feel included in the nusery. The place is spotless and their food very well balanced. It was really a heartbreak to have to leave!
