Bought a car from the 'sister' company "Modern Classic" that had a catastrophic mechanical failure after just three weeks. Fair enough, HLA have repaired the vehicle (which they were obliged to do under the Sale of Goods Act), which included a reconditioned engine, but the timescale it took of 16 weeks was, in my opinion, excessive. They also have… not honoured some promises they made throughout the repair and have had to be constantly chased by both myself & my finance company for updates. I felt i was very much "put to the back of the queue" throughout the process and now the repair
