We rented Holly Lodge and Laburnum Lodge so we would have plenty of space for our combined family of 6 adults, 2 children and a baby.
The lodges were comfortable and clean and we all enjoyed the spacious grounds. We explored the surrounding area, using the walk guides from the Woodcombe Lodge website, played golf and visited some local attractions as well as the local beaches. The perfect set up for our holiday this year.
Great views all around too.

Not the best cottage I have ever stayed in, doors upstairs did not close properly, very noisy shower in double en suite and windows not easy to open. In need of a update. Nice grounds and amenities though, good area if you are a keen walker. Lovely views.

We had a lovely break in Cherry Tree lodge. It was spotlessly clean and comfy, with a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family of four. The views from the putting green and the veranda are spectacular and we enjoyed playing games (table tennis and table football), as well as beautiful walks.
The beach, shops and restaurants of Minehead are a short drive or pleasant walk away. We've already booked a return visit - thank you!

My wife and I and her parents spent a delightful week in Cherry Tree Lodge, a tranquil location with beautiful views. The location of the lodge was excellent as a base for walking directly from the site, assisted by a selection of short and medium distance walks provided by the owners. Even walking down into the nearby town was a treat, through a series of well-planned linear parks with a stream running through. For my wife’s less mobile parents, the interior of the lodge itself was fully-accessible, extremely spacious and bright and well equipped for self-catering; The verandah outside was perfect

We stayed in one of Woodcombe lodges just after detached accommodation reopened, it was spacious with a lovely large balcony to enjoy the stunning views. The whole grounds and gardens are beautifully kept and it was perfect for us as a family to have the space to relax. The lodges are very conveniently located for the centre of Minehead (only a minutes drive away) and Dunster where you can enjoy the beach or a selection of walks. The lodges are well appointed with modern kitchens and bathrooms and everything you might need. Overall the experience was faultless and a credit to the owners who were

Rose Cottage was perfect for a relaxing quiet rest and release from lockdown. Andrew and Nicola had done everything possible to make us feel comfortable and safe. The area is beautiful and we particularly appreciated Andrew's carefully described walks from the property. The site is large and has beautiful views in all directions, but is not far from the main road and other amenities. Many thanks to Andrew and Nicola

Lovely clean and comfortable self-catering holiday lodges in a peaceful location. The site owners are welcoming, courteous and friendly. Usefully close enough to Minehead town centre and beach but far enough away to not be able to see or hear it! Beautiful countryside views of the edge of Exmoor from the large front windows and covered veranda. Perfect holiday retreat. We'll be back!
