Playbox is a calm, relaxed play space offering lots of opportunities for children to be inquisitive and explore their natural curiosity. At Playbox we want to give children the very best opportunities during their time with us. We strive to be a home from home environment and understand how important it is for the whole family to be a part of their child's learning and development from the very start.
Playbox Nursery is set in a beautifuly maintained Victorian house near to Chesterfield Town Centre. We believe that children are at their happiest and most contented surrounded by nature and the natural world. At Playbox spend a lot of their time exploring our large outdoor space. The outdoors is constantly changing with the weather and seasons, and this offers children a wide variety of learning opportunities using all of their senses.

Services
All our staff hold at least a level 3 Child Care qualification and each one brings their own individual interests and talents to the team. This means every day holds different and exciting activities for the children. We invest highly in our team development. We want our staff to be the very best practitioners who can fully support your child's learning and development during their time at Playbox.
We know that the support from our highly trained practitioners, alongside an environment rich in natural resources, and open ended play experiences enable children to enjoy learning, and make the very best progress. The nursery is divided into 3 main areas, designed to accommodate each of the following age groups.
At Playbox we ensure that all children are provided with a nutritious and varied diet. We have a 4 weekly menu rotation which includes cooking activities that the children participate in. We know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. On arrival at nursery there is a choice of healthy cereals and a selection of fruit, croissants, crumpets, toast, milk and water.
Before your child's first day we would like you to come and spend time with us, getting to know each other and your child's routine. We will arrange these settling-in visits with you on the day you book in. Carefully read and sign the nursery terms and conditions and return these with a 50 registration fee to secure a place.
