Our first restaurant was opened in Lincoln and is situated off the A46 junction of the Doddington Road bypass.
The franchise was brought over from America by a local businessman John Foulston who owned his own construction business. The restaurant was designed by Sam Scorer who was a Lincolnshire architect and was famous for his unique designs. The Lincoln Restaurant has a unique styled roof portraying a rack of ribs.

Since 1988 we've been serving the finest pork ribs, richly seasoned with select spices, slow-smoked to mouthwatering perfection. Basted with your choice of one of our signature sauces, BBQ or Char Sui. This quality grade is determined by maturity and marbling scores, with abundant marbling being required.

As a vegetarian, I found the choice at Damon's pitiful. I know it's primarily a meat restaurant...
But so is McDonald's. And even they do a really nice meat free burger nowadays.
Meat free, not 'vegetarian' burger, which is basically sweet corn, carrot etc in breadcrumbs. Very few vegetarians want that these days. Very poor and 30 years behind the times I'm afraid. And £15 for the 'pleasure'. Shant be going again until they catch up.

I usually travel the hours journey at least 10 times every year to Damons however I will not ever come back, we came 4th of January, ordered food, was served bread in a wet basket, ordered 2 onion loaf, both soggy and salty. Then ordered 4 adult mains disappointed in tge fact they have stopped the garlic mash, apparently due to covid, and 3 kids mains. Everything was completely covered in salt! To the point where it burnt our mouths! Even beans was salted. We complain to the waiter who just said "yes we salt everything, would you like another drink?" £195.26 for awful food. Dont waste your money

We had a warm welcome and excellent service, unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. The ribs were way too sweet and the lobster with garlic butter should have been called raw garlic with a hint of lobster. About a tablespoon of raw garlic heaped on top of a lobster tail does not a garlic butter make. Was looking forward to a nice meal but seriously disappointed.

Would have given 5 stars had it not been for the greeter, who said that she only had 3 servers and if we waited she would get to us in 10 or so minutes! Small point, but first impressions count, especially on our first visit. Our server was very nice, efficient and helpful, though. Food delicious and well presented. Will go again.

Service was brilliant, and there was. Very brief wait from arriving to sitting at the table. The server was very helpful with my food intolerance (dairy) as the menu was very basic in terms of identifying allergens. There were no clear vegaterian or vegan options. The food we ordered was good. My partner's steak was cooked well and my ribs were well cooked, but there was a discrepancy between the amount of chat between mine and another table's order. There is a very limited number of side options, no salad or sweet corn options and it isn't always clear what comes as an automatic additions the

Absolutely brilliant food and great service to go with it , Steph served us all night and made us feel welcomed in a busy atmosphere. The food was exactly how we wanted it cooked , and was overall delicious 😋 we had a variety of steak , scampi , prawns pork and their famous ribs between two of us and tried a little of everything so can say with confidence it's all worth trying.
