Browns Kitchen was established by Lee Brown, a chef and caterer of over 25 years. Lee has a wealth of catering knowledge and had a passion to bring something different to the industry. He wanted to offer beautiful food and great customer service at affordable costs.

Weddings are our speciality, after all a wedding is one of the most special days you will have and we want to make sure that we get it right from the beginning to the end. Firstly we like to talk to you in detail so that we understand exactly what you want, and so that we can help you with our own ideas that will make your wedding day that little bit extra special.
At Browns Kitchen we have a passion to provide clients with fine cuisine that embodies style and creativity - delivered with a flair that is unique and hands on. Whether you are arranging a business lunch or a full scale corporate dinner, we bring a vast amount of experience and passion to your event.
We have spent the last few years perfecting beautiful food and amazing service and now we have incorporated these skills into our bar service. We can provide outside bars to suit your event, fully stocked with all your favourite tipples. There is also 'Dry Hire' with a complete bar set up and trained staff to serve your own drinks.
We love hog roasts and barbecues, they are very sociable ways of celebrating, and the good thing is we get to meet the customers too. We do mouth watering whole hogs, cooked for hours on site and slowly rotating on the spit, keeping those juices contained within the meat, whilst the skin slowly dries and crisps to give the most amazing mouth watering crackling.

What can I say about Browns Kitchen? They are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! Lee and his very lovely team catered for our wedding on 27 August and the food, service, bar and professionalism were amazing. We cannot fault them from the first moment we made contact. We had so many comments about how tasty and well presented our canapes and wedding breakfast was and it was a pleasure to deal with them from start to finish. Browns Kitchen provided the afternoon tea and drinks service for our wedding on Thursday 5th August 2021. The quality of the food was second to none and it didn't stop, there was plenty to go around!
The waiting staff were super attentive and very helpful. Glasses never went below half full and any questions were quickly answered.
The Drinkery went down very well and there was never a queue at the bar.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day and had many happy faces saying how good the evenings Paella was, can thoroughly recommend!

We couldn't have been happier with our decision to choose Lee to cater our wedding at Gildings Barns. Other than the food being absolutely incredible, Lee listened to our vision for the day and then made it happen. Communication was always great, and along with his excellent team they made sure the day ran smoothly which allowed us to really relax and enjoy our big day. Thank you again to Lee and all his staff!

We couldn't have been happier with our decision for Lee and the team to cater our wedding at Gildings Barns last weekend. After postponing our wedding twice due to covid, we are so thankful we finally got to taste the delicious lamb shoulder with all the trimmings! The food was incredible and could not be faulted. Browns have been so accommodating during this uncertainty and have helped us keep the stress low over the last year.
Lee and the team created a lovely flow for the day with seamless transitions between reception drinks, to canapés, to the main wedding breakfast and through to the evening

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
We had a wedding booked for 100 guests but was down to 15 due COVID but this did not stop Lee and his team to offer as much assistance as needed. On the day itself, the food and the service were fantastic and this is evident from the comments we received from our guests, specially the canopés, which I highly recommend!

Lee and his staff were fantastic. We hired Brown's for a small wedding and the food/service provided was amazing. All my guests could not speak highly enough of the service on the day. Lee worked around our dates, dietary requirements and last min changes with no fuss at all. A smooth running wedding day really does rely on the catering and Brown's have got it nailed. I would also recommend hiring of the bar, it's a nice added touch!

We went through a lot with Browns! When our May wedding had to be postponed to September it wasn’t ideal but Lee and his team were so accommodating and made it all seem easy. In the end we had an amazing day with our 30 guests and the food was remarkable, our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how delicious it was especially the shoulder of lamb which was so flavoursome. Lee and his team are so professional and helped make our day so special. We would highly recommend Browns. Thank you!

On the day before, Claire came and went through timings for the whole weekend.
The result - a perfect wedding with all of the guests raving about the food.
We cannot praise Lee, Claire and Browns Kitchens enough. A total professional outfit who provide excellent food with passion and commitment.
