Since the change of Government in 2010 we have seen the creation of the Office of Tax Simplification. Has this helped simplify tax? Not a chance - if anything we have seen an increase in complication with changes to mortgage interest tax relief on rental property, dividend tax, changes to CGT reliefs and stamp duties to name but a few.

Mollan & Co have been fantastic support over the last couple of years whilst I was setting up my own business for the first time. They were very patient teaching me how to use the software and explaining some basic accounting principles. I had plenty of questions throughout the first year and year end which were always received with patience. Mollan & Co are very quick to respond and this didn't change during the covid pandemic. Their fees are transparent and consistent. Highly recommended and their service allows you to focus on your clients.

The whole of the Mollan & Co staff have been extremely helpful for the 10+ years of using them. They have the information we need to hand and any help with any queries we may have. Meetings with Mr Rob Mollan on a yearly basis to discuss our accounts are 'painless' and very productive. When we upgraded to Xero personal extensive training was provided at their offices and the information they gave us has made the everyday booking duties much easier to conduct.
