From your initial consultation to the moment you slice into your beautiful wedding cake, Mama Cakes will work with you to perfect every last detail.
All our cakes are completely custom made, therefore a precise price list is extremely difficult to publish. To help you keep to your budget we've structured our prices around a 'base cake' cost. There will always be a 'base' cost for a simple iced cake and we will provide you with a quotation for the additional cost of your choice of decoration.
We are dedicated to sourcing and using only the highest quality ingredients. All of our iced cakes are coated with Belgian chocolate ganache and the finest Swiss fondant which has no azo dyes, is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and is cholesterol and gluten free.

She is a very friendly professional who knows everything there is to do with cakes.
She understood the style of our wedding better than we did, when we went for our tasting, and helped us figure out what we actually wanted. Plus, Every single one of her cakes tasted incredible.
She kept us in the loop via her client area on the mama cakes website and sent through a draft design for our cake.
Claire, along with designing and making the cake, delivered and set up at the venue on the morning of the wedding.

I can't thank Claire enough we had to move our date several times and nothing was too much trouble. She took so much time helping us with the design of our cake as we really didn't know what we wanted. And the taste was out of this world all of our 30 guests commented on have amazing it looked and tasted. Thank you so much and keep up the amazing work.

We were looking for a wedding cake maker in Cumbria as we weren’t from the area and our hotel recommended Mama Cakes and I’m so glad they did. What can I say but WOW! We came to their beautiful studio for a wedding cake tasting and it was amazing. You can tell everything is homemade and so fresh. We received a beautiful design for our cake so we would have an idea of what our cake would look like but when we saw our cake on the day it blew us away. All of our guests couldn’t believe it was cake it looked that perfect and it tasted really amazing. Thank you so much we loved it. I would like

We booked our wedding cake with Claire over two years ago and never imagined that we would have to cancel and rearrange it so many times. But I have to say Claire has been brilliant, she has been so so patient and caring about what she does. I felt awful kept chopping and changing but she really made sure everything was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and answering our emails so late at night. Your a real star.

I always love photographing (and eating) Mama Cakes wedding cakes when I photograph weddings. Its always a treat to see her artwork come to life and the beaming smiles of her clients as they look at her creations.
