Prospero Accounting Ltd is a professional services and business consulting firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester, regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. We provide a full range of compliance services including accounts, audit, business tax, company secretarial, corporation tax, management accounts, payroll services, personal tax and value added tax (VAT) from our offices in the city centre of Manchester.
We couldn't have put it better ourselves and at Prospero Accounting Ltd all of our professional staff are Chartered Accountants and we as a company are regulated by the ICAEW in the way we conduct our business. We have all had experience of working for large international firms of Chartered Accountants and have therefore received the highest quality training.
Clients tell us accountants in the main are not business-focused but instead, they are focused on accounting and tax compliance. They might say they are 'Business Advisors' but the reality is that they have little experience of business advisory work and the systems and procedures to deliver it. And more importantly, they're not a specialist in engineering and metal manufacturing and therefore don't really understand the issues that you face.
Laura's role at Prospero entails working for a number of clients providing business advice, auditing, accounting, company secretarial and tax services. She also provides management accountancy service for clients on a weekly and monthly basis, which includes bookkeeping, monthly management accounts, payroll, cash flow forecasts, credit control and quarterly VAT returns.
Then Keri made the move to industry as a management accountant for the brand Regatta for 5 years gaining experience in the retail sector, producing monthly management accounts, assisting stakeholders with budgeting, setting up new systems, dealing with new markets and ensuring controls were in place within the department.
