Garage tried to rip me off on my mot essentially charging double, if you do not know cars I would avoid, Tim was extremely rude when called up on his mistakes (disconnecting the handbrake, intentionally causing emissions fault (it passed on the nextdoor garage), plus failing the car on a warning light that is not an actual mot fail for my car and giving very damaging advice for the car) seemed honest at first but will not be using again.

I've been using Bar Lane Garage for a number of years, though admittedly, infrequently, as I do most of my own car repairs, when I have time. We have an old, but loved, Audi A2, which needed major works after failing MOT on the emissions, primarily because the engine was worn out. At 150k miles it generally needed a major overhaul. When I contacted Bar Lane to see if they would fit the engine, I found it had been taken over recently by Farook, but I had a chat with him about what needed doing and booked the car in. Works included fitting of the new engine, a new cam belt, water pump, a new clutch

The staff here are truly credibly for their friendly customer service, competitive prices and informative knowledge. I've been visiting Bar Lane for 5 years now and not once had a bad experience.
