Start Right Nursery School offers a unique experience of early years education for 2-4 year olds. It is run in a beautiful thatched house surrounded extensive gardens, with a strong team of well qualified staff. Start Right Nursery School is owned and run by Caryll and Peter Ingerslev. This original group of 6 children grew over the years.
Start Right Nursery School is now registered to provide Full Day Care for up to 26 children in each session. Peter Ingerslev, formally an architect, and lecturer, joined Start Right Nursery School full time in 1993. Since then Start Right Nursery School has been managed by Caryll and Peter, and has continued to be run in their family home.

Services
There is a combination of child-initiated activities and adult initiated activities in three areas. Each area has an inside and an outside space. Children are in 3 groups and spend some time in each area. Morning Session activities include play and the development of basic skills based around a weekly topic.
At Start Right Nursery School we run our sessions in blocks of 3 hours from 9-12 noon or 1- 4pm. We send out booking forms to parents in the previous term showing the sessions booked for their children. Parents may add some sessions (if available), lunchtimes, early drop-offs or late pick-ups. Flexible funding is allowed for a minimum of 2 1/2 hours per day, a maximum of 10 hours a day and a maximum of 15 hours per week.
I cannot praise and recommend enough the Start Right Nursery School. My five year old spent 18 months at this school and I am so pleased I had the opportunity to send her there. Toddlers at this age are like sponges and soak up everything they are taught and THIS school is academic as well as allowing the child to express themselves creatively.
