Weyhill Montessori School provides a safe and stimulating learning environment where we follow the child in discovering their potential, their independence, their self confidence, a respect for each other and a love of learning which will hopefully remain with them for life. Weyhill Montessori is a nursery school for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years.

Our aim is to provide the very best in pre-school education, giving children a happy start to school life and a solid foundation, in preparation for the next step. We offer a carefully prepared environment, full of opportunities for safe and purposeful play, using Montessori and other equipment.

Prospective Parents Report

We provide exceptional quality of care and education and because of this the children at our nursery feel at home and therefore able to learn and enjoy their first taste of school life. We are also a fully-accredited Montessori setting. For this, we had to prepare a self-appraisal document and an assessor came to review our Montessori practice.

Staff Report

We recognise that, as your child's first 'teachers' beyond the home, our role is an important one. We are all fully qualified, experienced and attend regular training programs to maintain and improve our high teaching standards. We hold regular in-house training and are constantly reviewing our performance and the activities that we offer, in order to maintain and enhance the high quality of our teaching practice and our provision.

Parent Information Report

Weyhill Montessori school is held in High Lane Community Centre. Surrounded by playing fields, we enjoy our own secluded garden which enables us to extend the learning opportunities that we provide indoors. We offer Free Early Education for 3 and 4 year olds. We offer this entitlement as 3 hours in the morning or 5 hours as part of a full day to the total of 15 hours per week, for up to 38 weeks per year.
