Owner John Williams has been in the industry for over 40 years. Williams Cooper Limited began many years back with Brian Cooper. He ran his business from Park Lane in Poynton and enjoyed a long and successful career as a well-known and well-respected accountant in the village.
Having known Brian as an outstanding cricketer and sportsman when he coached him as an 18-year-old lad at Bollington Cricket Club, John and Brian's friendship remained, while John went off to London to become a fully qualified chartered accountant they were always in touch.John subsequently continued practising in Kent until he became affiliated with Brian still under the banner of Brian Cooper Accountants.
