Services
We wouldn't call ourselves business experts unless we took our own advice. Through our directors' strategic planning, the business has grown tenfold in 30 years, both organically and by acquisition. In Spring 2020, we will be renovating and refurbishing our Stockport headquarters to create a ground-floor reception and flexible meeting space, which will provide modern facilities and accommodation for our clients and administration team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper to join Bennett Verby. We will provide you with in-house training to support you in your new role. You will join a professional and highly respected team where hard work and commitment are rewarded. We are currently looking for an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior capable of completing assignments from start to finish with minimal supervision.
We'll quote in advance of the work, related to the value of work to be completed, so that you know where you stand. However, if you prefer to be charged on an hourly basis, we can do that too. You can call us about anything - tax, business ideas, resourcing or restructuring. If you need a confidential sounding board or just someone to bounce ideas off over the phone, we're available whenever you need advice.
Put simply, an accountant prepares financial records and ensures that they are correct. Your accountant will help you avoid getting into legal trouble by making sure your records are accurate and up to date. They can also look at your financial information to help you make informed decisions about your business.
We will help you fulfil your legal responsibilities and also save you time and work in preparing your accounts. We won't just 'do the books' once a year; we can keep in contact as often as you want, and we'll look at the figures and let you know how you can make savings in the future. In a changing climate of cloud accounting and digital reporting, we'll keep up to date with new technology so you don't have to.
