Based in Skipton, we are Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence specialists on hand to come to you at home or in hospital so you can tell us what happened to you. Our 'no win, no fee' arrangements mean you can concentrate on dealing with your situation while we claim for the compensation you deserve if someone has been negligent.
We may also be able to help you get access to all the medical care, rehabilitation, counselling and support you and your family need because of your condition. Although there are time limits for making a personal injury claim, each case is independently judged and we recommend you speak to us however much time has elapsed.

Services
While not able to throw the celebratory party originally planned for 2020, we are nonetheless proud to be marking the milestone of our 25th anniversary as a personal injury practice this year. Nicholas Luty and Andrew Armstrong are highly experienced personal injury lawyers who have each been practising in the UK for over 35 years, almost exclusively in the field of personal injury and clinical negligence litigation on behalf of claimants.
Andrew went to school in Bradford and Leeds, graduating in law from Liverpool University as a qualified solicitor in 1978. He was head of litigation at Lumb & Kenningham and later Kenningham Underwood Armstrong. He established Amstrong Solicitors in 1995 and was joined in partnership by Nicholas Luty in 1996.
We help you through the process of claiming compensation for your injury, making it simple and easy to follow from start to finish. Every case is different, of course, but the following steps will help you understand how we will go about making sure you get the recompense you deserve. Remember, our 'no win no fee' arrangements mean that you don't have to find money to cover your own legal expenses in advance.
If you have been injured by a defective product you should be protected by the Consumer Protection Act which covers all forms of goods. A defective product might just be one part of a larger device, machine or engine. From products used in the workplace to pharmaceutical and medical products such as artificial hip replacement components and pacemakers, as a consumer you have a right to expect your purchase to be fit for purpose.
Being attacked and bitten by a dog is a terrifying experience. Though it won't help you forget what happened, you may be able to claim compensation from the owner of the dog for the effect that this has had upon you. From small cuts to more serious injuries you have a right to expect some form of recompense from the owner of the dog for failing to handle it responsibly.

I've had excellent support from this firm with regards to a very complex case. I am so grateful for all the help, knowledge and experience they've offered. I was represented by the most amazing soul Nicholas Luty who has been incredible to work with. Without him, I'm not sure if I would have been able to carry on as this was a particularly difficult time for me. As expected I was able to get my desired outcomes with their help. Thank you

I have had nothing, but support from Armstrong Luty Solicitors. Very helpful. Very professional. Highly recommended. Please ignore fake negative reviews. Clearly someone who can't spell voice of reason as their name is spelt as "voiseof reason". These negative reviews are deliberately targeting an honest firm and they most likely must be competitors. Because if they were real, then they would leave their name, so that the firm can be allowed a chance to address any issues.

Prospective clients take note. One had to laugh when reading a review saying this is the best solicitors in Yorkshire. Ha Ha Ha. Oh dear oh dear, is that comedy or what. Personally was advised not get involved with Armstrong Luty solicitors. Seems the person who actually does much of the investigating as stated by their very website is a Mr Jackson who isn't a solicitor but is someone handy with a camera so can take a good photograph of pot holes or drain covers. Very curious and should he make a mistake when investigating your case or claim, he is not actually a solicitor, so who regulates Mr

Mr Armstrong did a claim for me and couldn’t have been more professional and helpful. The claim went very smoothly and the communication was excellent. The whole team were very kind and caring toward me and I’m very grateful to them all. I would recommend Armstrong Luty Solicitors to anybody. Thanks again.

Very disappointing when compared with the glossy website.
Parking is very difficult. Not really possible to park outside the premises due to very narrow village road. The building is small. Its more of a converted house than much else. Only two solicitors. Communication was very poor and felt my time was being wasted. Saw nobody coming or going on the occasions I was there. Felt too much like a sleepy village law firm. Would not recommend.
