I am Gus Pretorius, an OFTEC and Gas Safe registered Central Heating engineer living in Little Thetford 2 miles south of Ely in Cambridgeshire. It does not seem to be general knowledge but OFTEC is an organisation that regulates engineers in the Oil Heating industry in the same way as Gas Safe regulates gas engineers. It is important that you only use an OFTEC registered engineer to Install or service your Oil Boiler or to replace your Oil storage tank.
I would like to say a huge thank you for servicing our boiler recently. I have been very impressed with your work. Especially that you have identified and fixed the problem we had in less than five minutes; which several other "well-experienced" engineers couldn't fix even after several very expensive visits.
