It’s always good to shop around for a new mortgage... in my case re-mortgage and a new mortgage, so that’s what I did. I definitely wasted my time dealing with Julie. I told Julie what I want and provided her with all the figures she asked for. I was hoping she will come up with competitive mortgage rates. Instead she has taken her time and came back with nothing. Two other mortgage advisors I’ve contacted came back with figures and Lucra came back with “oh you better get some more money for 15% deposit you’ll get a better rates”.
