When the first review of this company here is written by a person who works in their 'service and installation department' (Oktaj Alijev) you have to wonder who wrote all the other positive reviews. (If Oktaj's five star rating is no longer visible, you'll know that the company has read my review.)
We chose the windows because of the aluminium-clad design. Problems ensued as soon as they were installed ... or rather weren't installed properly. The locks also break regularly, as do the plastic fasteners and the strings ... and trying to get anyone to help with replacements or get work done under

I was warned by friends and by my builders not to deal with marvin but i thought i knew better - how right they were. Firstly DO NOT believe the responses below from marvin to other reviews. People have enough on in life so you know they are genuinely aggrieved if they find time to post reviews. In my case - i fully agree with their negative comments on the product, installation and aftercare. to break it down:

This was an excellent service. Job was completed on time and the team were very professional and friendly. I was recommended Marvin by my neighbours who also used them. I'm very happy. My husband who is a cabinet maker is happy, and he's hard to please.
I have since had Marvin back to remove another old window install a new window. Again the service was excellent. Lead times were slightly longer than previously, but I wouldn't trust anyone else, so waited a little longer. I was kept informed at all stages of when delivery would take place. Installers were again very polite, tidy and knowledgeable

Cannot stress enough STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The service has been useless, the windows are now in and we’re not happy with the way it opens but trying to get an engineer out is proving difficult. I really would look elsewhere, given our experience I am pretty confident this company will not be around for long. Save yourself the bother, there are better windows out there sold by people who actually know what they are doing!
