We feel that our nursery provides an exciting place for all children and also for the adults who work with them. We constantly strive to provide the best possible learning experiences for children. The website provides information about our nursery. However, it is better if you visit and see the nursery in operation, attend meetings and have discussions with our staff team.
Confidence in a nursery comes from knowing and understanding what happens and why. To create a warm, nurturing, caring and educational environment that stimulates your child, where your child can feel safe and cared for while learning, so that he or she may achieve their fullest potential as a unique individual in society'.

In 2007, a vision to provide an environment where young children could be nurtured, educated and cherished in a loving environment by highly qualified and experienced practitioners was conceived. The demand for places was such that in the summer of 2008 additional staffing was required. Within 12 months the waiting list for places was long and larger premises were required.

Our baby Room cares for babies from 8 weeks old to 16 months of age, at which point they transfer to our first Toddler Room. Practitioners support babies' in-built language abilities by talking and listening to them and tuning in to their needs. The room is led by Nicole Whittaker who is currently a part-time undergraduate at the University of Huddersfield and leads a team of specialist practitioners.
The EYFS describes the time in your child's life between birth and age 5. This is a very important stage in each child's development. It helps them prepare for school. Working with parents we want to ensure each child's experience is happy, active, exciting and fun. Children in the EYFS learn by playing and exploring, being active, and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both indoors and outside.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS 2021) sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children's 'school readiness' and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.
