Services
The Good Garage Scheme was formed because of the need for effective self-regulation of independent workshops and MOT centres. Motorists can use the website www.goodgaragescheme.com to find a trustworthy garage in their area to service, repair or carry out an MOT. Adhere to a strict Code of Conduct and pledge to have their customers' best interests at heart.
Your car is important. You and your family may need it to travel for work, school and pleasure and it is vital that is it well maintained to stay safe and ready when you need it most. The Good Garage Scheme has a team of experienced technical advisors to help take away the worry of car maintenance, including servicing, repairs and MOTs.
When organising a car service, it's important that you establish what the service includes. Some garages will change only your oil filter, others will carry out a full service. A good garage will follow a service checklist and give you a copy of that completed checklist as a confirmation of a job well done.
Whether you are having an smaller service or standard service on your car, Good Garage Scheme members offer all customers a clear description of what has been carried out. When the work is complete, Garage Scheme members will provide customers with a checklist report detailing what has been carried out on an Interim Service or a Standard Service.
The MOT test was originally called the "Ministry Of Transport test", it is now simply called an MOT. All MOT Testing Stations are regulated by the newly named Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), which replaces both the Driving Standards Agency and VOSA. According to the government-run DVSA, you must keep any vehicles driven on the road in a roadworthy condition and records are updated on a database.

Good Garage scheme is a con.
Won't post bad feedback on there site,as they told me they don't want to harm any businesses that deal with them.
Also they charge garages a monthly fee to belong to the scheme.
They must then buy their products from a company called forte group which they own.
Don't use any garages displaying the goodgaragescheme unless you know they're very good.
I used a garage on the scheme did a terrible job on my van.
Warning to everyone don't use any garages on the scheme,As you'll regret it big time.
This scheme is supposed to protect the public, but all they care about
