Lochmeyler Farm Cottages
There are 2 self catering cottages to choose from at Lochmeyler, all equipped with a King size and Single size bed. The Cottages have their own lounge areas as well as Bath and Shower facilities. Along with two 4* Holiday Cottages on our farm we have just started making delicious Ice-Cream using the milk from our 350 free-range cows.

We have two children's play areas and a pet area with two Pygmy-cross Goats, three horses, six chickens, three rabbits and finally two lovely Kune-Kune pigs. We have also put together a list of things to do in the local area. Lochmeyler Farm Cottages are located on our 300 acre working dairy farm, 3 miles inland from the coastal footpath, 4 miles north east of Solva and 6 miles east of St. Davids, which is the smallest city in Great Britain.
Services
A warm welcome awaits you at Lochmeyler Farm Cottages which are located on our 300 acre working, dairy farm, 3 miles inland from the coastal footpath, 4 miles north east of Solva and 6 miles east of St Davids - the smallest city in Great Britain. Lochmeyler Farm dates back as far as the 11th century and was said to be named after Meylir a descendant of Bleddyn ap Cynfyn, Prince of Powys.
We have two beautifully renovated Self Catering Cottages, Cwtch Lloi and Clun Moch. The Cottages have their own parking area in a secluded courtyard and each Cottage has a private garden with furniture and BBQ. The Cottages each have one large en-suite bedroom, which have a king size and single bed.
The Lounge has a comfy sofa and two arm-chairs, log burner, 40 inch TV, DVD player, DAB radio, CD Player and board games. Each cottage has an extensive National Park information park, together with details of the facilities and places of interest in the area. There is a DVD and Book library in the main house for guests to use.
Along with two 4* Holiday Cottages on our farm we have just started making delicious Ice-Cream using the milk from our 350 free-range cows. We supply local tea rooms, restaurants and shops with our Ice-Cream and we also have a bike which allows us to do outdoor or indoor events including rugby festivals, weddings, fairs and parties.
We are happy for our guests to explore the farm - children must be supervised and dogs kept on leads. There is an under-cover viewing gallery to watch our cows being milked. The cows are milked twice daily from 6.00am - 8.30am and 4.00pm - 6.30pm (milking times are approximate and dependent on who is milking them!).

If you want an 'out of the way' place to stay then this is it. No passing traffic and excellent breakfasts. It is a working farm so expect some farmyard smells occasionally and a few flies. If you like slick, modern and streamlined then this place is not for you. If you like a warm welcome, old fashioned hospitality away from main roads, noise and hustle and bustle then this is the place to go. Approach roads are very narrow with grass growing in the middle awkward If you meet a vehicle coming the other way. If you are not good at reversing then practice before you go!. We loved it and will return

I can't praise enough this accomodation and our host, lovely lady who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was very spacious with small fridge , tea and cofee facilities, tv, radio and electric blankets. When we arrived welsh cake was waiting for us in our room. Bed was very comfortable with lovey beddings and breakfast was delicious. It felt like home.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lochmeyler. The room is spacious with everything you could need, including welsh cakes, fruit cakes and yummy hot chocolate. Location is very
convenient for visiting north pembrokeshire. Cooked breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit, cereal, and other goodies. Best part was our lovely host who was so welcoming and kind. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, well fed and was just so lovely to chat to. Thanks so much Morfydd, we hope to revisit soon! 10/10 would recommend!!

Nice ice cream from the shop in Haverfordwest, a good price for two scoops.
