Asgard Engineering
Here at Asgard we often make CNC turned parts to within 10 micron tolerances. All of our CNC machines have cross drilling and milling capability and all have sub spindles. This eliminates the need for "secondary operations" meaning the parts coming off fully finished and complete, giving the added benefit of reducing time and cost, but with improved accuracy.

With a range of 16mm, 20mm and 32mm capacity machines we are able to produce incredibly accurate and complex parts down to 0.5 mm in diameter and up to 1 metre in length. For larger components our Doosan Puma Turning Centre and new Samsung SL2000BSY can produce parts up to 65mm in diameter. We regularly produce parts in all of the stainless steels grades, including specialist duplex alloys, aerospace and medical grades.
Services
We're ISO 9001:2015 Certified (Certificate 5356-QMS-001) so you can have confidence in all your CNC turned parts requirements. Remember ISO certification covers the delivery reliability as well as the accuracy of the components we supply! We operate CNC Visual Measuring and laser microscopy accurate to 0.15 microns for speed and accuracy of fine limit measurements.
Asgard is concentrating on the small, precision, specialist sector of the CNC turned parts and sub assemblies market. Typical customers are involved in Medical Devices, Aerospace and Electronics applications, though we also supply into Petro-Chemical and more general industries. Quality and Precision are key elements, which is why we operate systems which give full material and parts traceability.
The SR 20 RIV sliding head machine also has B axis controlled power driven tools for varied machining operations. It is also easily interchangeable between guide bush and non-guide bush mode. When it comes to the power of the machine, this new model's rear spindle offers equal power to that of the main, in addition, the power tools also have improved output.
Trochoidal Milling is a revolutionary process pioneered to replace slot sawing and offer a cleaner, sharper and more efficient part to our customer. After making these parts using the slot sawing technique, we knew there would be a better way to make them - so we found it!

Asgard are committed to finding new solutions to age-old problems, and pioneering new and innovative processes in order to produce a part with the closest tolerances, the best surface finish and as efficiently as possible. Before Trochoidal Milling, the only way to machine an aperture like this was to use slotting saws; a process which hadn't changed much since the 19th century.
We supply CNC precision turned parts and CNC machined parts for the nuclear, aerospace, medical, food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as electronics and instrumentation. Asgard are pursuing ISO 13485 in support of the Medical Components manufacturing - including Bone Screws in many different lengths and Self-Drilling Bone Screws - we are experienced in implant grade Titanium.
