The story of Byrom Clark Roberts is one of progress and expansion stretching back to 1925. With its roots in a number of practices, all of them well known in the architectural field, the origins of the practice begin with Richard Byrom, the father of one of the former directors, who founded his practice in Bury.
Since then, the practice has steadily grown through mergers with Frederick Hill, The Moxham Clark Partnership, Alex Roberts Associates and SIX Architecture + Design Ltd - all thriving practices with a diversity of experience to contribute to the company. The result is Byrom Clark Roberts Ltd., a dynamic and progressive practice, with offices in Manchester, Chester, Leeds and Llandudno.

Services
To design a landmark building which could be seen from the road and have a 'civic' presence but not look like a church. The design should be welcoming with lots of glass and with views from the building. A glazed 'welcoming' entrance, pews replaced with light-weight and stackable chairs to provide a modern flexible multipurpose worship space.

Covering Work Stages 0 - 7 in the RIBA Plan of Works 2013, the Full Architectural Service offers a comprehensive and rigorous approach to a project, which may include the identification of needs, advice on procurement, the production of feasibility options, development of preferred options, submission of applications for planning approval, detailed design, contractor tendering, building contract administration, site inspections and reporting, hand-over procedures and facilitating post-occupancy feedback.
A Feasibility Study is often undertaken when a fuller appreciation of opportunities and constraints is required. The scope of such a study can be tailored to suit the needs and budget of a particular client. This ensures that all applicable aspects of a project have been given due consideration, from site and environmental issues, to design options and costing models.
