An establishment celebrated greatly by CAMRA, we have been in the Good Beer Guide every year since opening the doors in 1992. If you like real ale, Belgian, German or craft beers, you're in the right place. We have an ever-expanding range of gins, currently sitting at around 100 but we add more and more each week.
We can accommodate parties of varying size and for larger groups, offer full-room bookings of one of our three separate dining areas. Our Garden Room is ideal for parties of up to 30, with doors for direct access to the garden during the summer (weather permitting). We have a sizeable selection of lighter meals served all day to accommodate those in search of a light lunch or simply those who favour smaller portions.

Services
Located in the heart of the south Cheshire countryside, The Bhurtpore Inn is a family-owned, traditional village pub. The owners - Simon and Nicky George - bought The Bhurtpore in 1991. Since then, the pub has won numerous awards and it is recommended by all major pub and beer guides, including the Good Pub Guide, the Good Beer Guide, Alastair Sawday's Pubs & Inns of England & Wales and the AA Pub Guide.
Over the last 25 years the Bhurtpore has featured in most major pub guides and has picked up many awards and honourable mentions and we are proud of each one. Listed with a star entry - 'for really outstanding pubs' - each year since 1997.
This year we were once again included in their list of the country's top ten pubs for both whisky and beer and feature in the guide's first top ten gin pubs list, as well as being awarded distinctions for wine and for value.I commend them for their taste! We have been selected as one of the best 200 or so pubs in Britain.

Here at the Bhurtpore we have a team of dedicated chefs who work hard to deliver quality, wholesome food using fresh, seasonal produce. We source the best quality produce available to us.
This includes game from the local shoot, venison, lamb and some of our more unusual cuts from Lake Speciality Foods in Cumbria, beef and sausages from Brookshaw's butchers in Nantwich (who have supplied meat to four generations of the George family), goat from Chestnut Meats of Spurstow, Appleby's Cheshire from Hawkstone Abbey Farm in Marchamley and cheddar from Belton Farm in Whitchurch.

At the Bhurtpore we take pride in offering the highest quality and widest array of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar is laden with 11 hand pumps, each connected to a different, ever-changing real ale. On keg we offer a choice of 3 lagers - the classic German lager Bitburger, Joseph Holts Crystal from Manchester and the Spin Doctor Indie Lager by Bootleg, also from Manchester.
We hold a number of regular and seasonal events at the Bhurtpore, both indoor and outdoor. The VJMC meet on the last Thursday of each month and in August run a major event in the field behind the pub with the attendance of hundreds of bikes. Folk music sessions have been a feature at the Bhurtpore on the third Tuesday of every month since 1992.

Okay so the photo doesnt show much. Lovely country pub that frankly you could easily miss. Near to Hack Green nuclear bunker so a perfect stop if you have visited there. Lots a nooks and crannies to choose from, we sat in what looked like a garden room full of plants and interesting pictures about the Charge of the Light brigade.
Reasonable and varied lunch menu, good range of ales and wines and very reasonably priced for Cheshire. Staff were friendly, service was prompt and the food was hot and well cooked.

Toook my family down to the bhurtpore yesterday for tea. all i can say is that i have never eaten such over priced rubish in my whole life. tasteless and bland. i had a burger that had no flavour. And my partner and children both complained about the lack of quality and flavourless food. AVOID AVOID AVOID. WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AT MCDONALDS.

Bit of a mecca for Real Ale lovers and other beers from around the world, the best in South Cheshire i would say. Great curries, try the Lamb Super Tinderloo or Lamb Bhurtpore if you like it hot! Bar staff, excellent and really know their stuff, young Bill is great. Beer fests in July and November, train journey for us from Nantwich and a walk across the fields, wonderful..Fave beer here when it's on is Salopian Gold

Now this Pub is defo one of my favorites of all time.
This Pub has it all, although the one downside is that its out in the country so you have to get a Taxi Or Train unless you dont drink, & that would be a BIG shame if you drink real ALE this is the BEST there is!
You MUST go here if you like REAL Ale. I love this pub. The Food is also OUTSTANDING.
I Take my Family here all the time to eat, great menu, although not cheap, you do get great value in that the quality & most important the TASTE is fantastic.
5 Stars, & a MUST visit. You wont be disappointed!

A bit off the beaten track really in that you have to drive a fair distance to get to it, but it is more than worth it when you get there.
It has a large carpark to the rear, and on entering the pub you realise you're in for a treat. A huge chalkboard shows the specials for that day, and the plethora of awards certifictaes relating to both food and the drink is outstanding.
The Real ales in particular bring fans in from all over the north west and it is one of the comendable pubs that CAMRA rate very highly.
The turnover of cask ales for such a small pub shows just how popular it

The Bhurtpore Inn is a true gem. In sleepy Aston, within walking distance of Wrenbury Station, this family-owned freehouse is a must-visit if you're in the area. The beer rotation is quite astounding, with no less than 10 guest cask ales on at any one time, plus milds, stouts, and ciders. It's extremely welcoming, cozy, and has a dining room too serving great grub. A firm fave of CAMRA members who travel from far and wide to visit!
Be sure to check out the annual beer festival each July - you can camp in the field at the back if you fancy doing the full weekender!
