All Orange Tree Dental clinical staff are registered with the General Dental Council and adhere to their guidelines. Originally from the Wirral, I joined the Orange Tree straight after graduating from Leeds, in 1985. I have a special interest in implant dentistry and have undertaken many courses in the UK and abroad to further my knowledge and training.
Outside work, I am married to Terry. I am also a keen runner, and have recently taken up triathlon. I am registered with the Association of Dental Implantology UK and the British Society of Occlusal Studies. I am delighted to have followed in my father's footsteps in my role as a partner at the Orange Tree.

Services
There are few things as wonderful as a child's smile. From the appearance of your child's first tooth to losing their last baby tooth, these important steps are moments to be cherished. At Orange Tree Dental we understand how precious your child's teeth are and that is why we provide all the help and guidance you need to protect them into adulthood.
Crowns are artificial restorations which fit over your prepared tooth. They are used primarily when your natural tooth is quite badly broken down and is too weak to support a conventional filling. Traditionally, crowns were made from metal for strength, or porcelain for front teeth where aesthetics are more important.
At Orange Tree Dental, we are fortunate to work with our experienced dental therapist Emma. She provides support for the dentist by treating gum disease, as well as providing extra services such as simple fillings, fissure sealants and removal of baby teeth. Good oral hygiene is the cornerstone of a healthy mouth - and the benefits go far beyond.
The loss of a tooth or teeth can be the most devastating occurrence, and whilst modern dentures can give outstanding aesthetics, a removable plate is not something many patients desire. The most excellent fitting denture will still move around when you chew, food debris gets stuck under the plate and the fear of the denture dropping during social functions causing huge embarrassment is enough to give most patients nightmares!
Having a filling is often not top of someone's wish list. Wouldn't it be nice if we could avoid the need for them? If a filling were unavoidable then wouldn't it be nice if it were as small and as least damaging to our teeth as possible? At Orange Tree Dental we believe so. That is why we've adopted the Minimal Intervention approach to our dentistry.

I came to this practice after having a bad experience elsewhere. I was treated with respect and understanding, my problem was sorted out immediately and I was reassured about my on going treatment.
I would like to thank Tim and all the staff for being so kind to me, I now feel less stressed when I visit your practice.
I will certainly recommend this dental surgery to my friends and family.
Thank you again.
