Have tried to renew sons policy since last week using website as advised however neither of our emails showing as valid even although I have been getting emails to renew. Called them today to renew policy but as it had lapsed more than 24hrs they are unable to do anything even after speaking to someone earlier who assured me this would be okay. They advised to start a new policy which has just about doubled the renewal price. Shocking service

Marmalade can be closely compared to a good night out on cheap drinks , Everything goes swimmingly from the start , incredibly cheap insurance , easy sign up process and co-operative staff . I got my insurance as a learner and have used marmalade for my first year as a full driver and am renewing this year also. The black box powers itself and as about the size of an AirPods case , it sticks behind your mirror and makes no fuss. The hangover of marmalade is that the black box tracks everything (speed , accelerating, braking , phone use and cornering) for this reason they have lost a star , although

Marmalades named driver insurance is brilliant for learners, I was able to get a test for a few months but wanted to keep driving and didn't want to keep paying for lessons every week so I got my own insurance on my parents car with marmalades named driver insurance, and I can chose how long I want to be insured for. Honestly if you're wanting young driver insurance go with marmalade.

My grandson was home from university so I wanted to teach him to drive in my company car (I own the company). However every insurance company I contacted would only insure him for a year, which was no good as he was only home for a few weeks. Marmalade were the only company that would cover him for less than a year. I found them professional, easy to contact, and good value for money.

Absolutely terrible company. I would cancel if I thought I would get any money back. I can't wait until my renewal date comes and I can change to a new insurer.
Black box records drives and then randomly marks some as red and they send threatening emails about how you are on a 30 day notice and may have to pay more money. This has happened to me twice. Once for driving normally in rain and more recently for my boyfriend using his phone while I was driving. I phoned to ask them to remove and they told me they couldn't. I asked to make a complaint and all of a sudden they could remove the 30 day

We have had nothing but excellent service from Marmalade... Apart from one minor glitch which was sorted immediately they have been absolutely fantastic while we have been insured with them... Which due to no driving tests happening has been considerably longer than we anticipated... Renewing is incredibly simple - Customer service is second to none... If you are looking for learner driver insurance... Look no further...
