You can take time out to visit the welcoming small town of Kirkbymoorside or the very picturesque market town of Helmsley, both less than 10mins away. A paradise for walkers and cyclists alike, with many Stately Homes and attractions.

Services
Oak Tree Cottage, The biggest and boldest of our cottages, Looking out at stunning views of the Howardian and Hambleton Hills. The former pig sty, boasts modern facilities and incorporates many original features for a relaxing stay. The Cottage is Open plan comprising of 50 Flat Screen Television, DVD, Radio/CD player, Wi-Fi, Leather suite ( chair, 2 seater & 3 seater ) all reclining.
There are many things to do in the local area and below are just a few of our favourite places to visit. From pretty villages to stately homes, mighty abbeys to magical museums and of course, fabulous food and art, the North York Moors National Park is full of special places with special qualities - that's a huge part of the reason it's a treasured landscape, protected for everyone to enjoy.
Traveling off the A1 onto the A168 to Thirsk, then from Thirsk catch the A170 to Helmsley. Following this route through Beadlam & Nawton, turning Left at a sign for Fadmoor. Travel uphill for about a mile, taking a right hand turn at Hagg Road which will fetch you directly to the cottages on the left hand side.
