Peak Architects
Peak Architects was formed in 2015 by architect Paul Holden. From the outset the ethos of the practice was to bring a fresh approach centred on client collaboration. We have a growing reputation, and this is due to our talented and resourceful team who work in the belief that quality architecture comes about through client collaboration, good design, environmental awareness and innovation.

Clients trust us because we go out of our way to understand their needs and exceed their aspirations. The construction industry respects us because we use cost-effective materials and building methods to make innovative architecture. The practice works across a variety of sectors and at all scales of development.
Services
We are an award-winning RIBA Chartered architectural practice with offices in Sheffield and the Hope Valley. We have a proven track record of delivering inspiring designs and buildings. At Peak Architects, we cover a large variety of sectors in the architectural design, construction planning and interior design fields.
Central to our approach is to conserve, protect and convert the buildings to sustainable uses that preserve their character and fabric. Use of traditional materials and construction techniques, where possible, whilst integrating modern techniques to preserve the environment within which the buildings exist;.
Peak Architects have a good track record and working relationship with Peak District Park Planning Authority. The key to our approach is to engage early with the Planning Authority and, where buildings are listed, with Historic England (English Heritage).

This approach has allowed us to maintain a high planning success rate in providing innovative design solutions that utilise locally derived materials, reinforce and enhance the character of the Peak Park, whilst being bespoke to each client.
At Peak Architects, we offer a variety of services; from initial consultation right through to a full architectural service. We believe that, at all stages of the design process, there must be transparency in the service and deliverables offered. The following packages simplify the process, but are not exhaustive or prescriptive, and should be seen as a guide to our services.
We have pulled together the following information that you might find useful when considering your project. The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) developed the 'Plan of Work' in 1963 and has recently revised the original document into its present format. These are the rules governing the size of any additions you can make to your property without going through the planning process.
