Services
Originally built from local stone in the late 1800's, these quaint cottages retain much of their original character, with exposed beams, open vaulted ceilings and feature stonework. Once a milking parlour now converted to provide deceptively spacious holiday accommodation with a charming and traditional feel.
Nolton Haven is a sheltered cove with a sandy beach, small slipway, free car park, toilets and pub. It doesn't get as busy and crowded as nearby Newgale and Broadhaven, yet is easily accessible. As a cove it is sheltered from wind and the sea is much calmer than Newgale making it ideal for children to swim, body board or kayak.
Skomer Island is a National Nature Reserve a short distance off the coast of Pembrokeshire near Marloes. Martins Haven is the nearest landing and boats leave regularly in the summer to cross Jack Sound taking visitors across to the island for the day. Sailings take up to 50 people at a time and start about 10 in the morning.
There are many beautiful beaches, some like Newgale with easy parking and facilities, others like Druidstone or Marloes which are more secluded. The seas around the Pembrokeshire coast provide superb fishing for a wide range of species. Bass are a favourite, and mackerel abound in the summer. Pollack are plentiful off the rocks, as well as wrasse.
