Most of us think of seeing a solicitor rarely, perhaps to buy a house or to make a will but, as life becomes more complex, legal issues affect our personal and business lives more. We aim to build a relationship with you so that our help is only a telephone call away. Many of our clients are small businesses who need to telephone for quick advice.
Many legal problems arise because of ignorance of the law and are avoidable with timely advice. Building a relationship with you is important so that we are sensitive to your needs and can give value for money.

Services
We are a general practice but as the law has developed and become more complex it has become necessary to develop particular areas of expertise. Mark Woodward, partner, with Ella Lewis, Chartered Legal Executive, undertakes our private client work. Mary Croft, partner, deals with domestic and commercial conveyancing.
A fixed quotation: We give you a fixed quotation at the outset which we have to stick to (usually in relation to wills, residential conveyancing or remortgages). An estimate: Where we cannot give you a fixed quotation because we don't know how much work will be needed, we give an estimate based on our best forecast of the amount of work needed and then let you know if it becomes clear that the estimate will be exceeded.
