Managing over 100,000 homes and 600 commercial sites across the South East we cover all elements of servicing, maintaining and installing heating systems. Michael has worked in the construction and heating industry for the majority of his career. Michael founded BSW Heating Limited in 1962 with his father John.

Prior to this he worked for a variety of companies within the heating sector. As our Executive Chairman Michael takes an active role in the day to day operation of the business whilst also running MEAK, the charity he set up with his wife Dee. After completing a BSc in Construction Management Guy joined a property development company, progressing to Acquisitions Manager.

BSW Heating Limited is a domestic and commercial heating servicing, maintenance and installation company. We provide a professional, high quality service across the South East. Our teams manage domestic and commercial installation projects as well as repair and maintenance contracts for a range of clients including housing associations, local authorities, education providers and hospitals.
Our Commercial Heating Team provides a 24/7 reactive and planned preventative maintenance service and manages commercial installation projects across the South East. We service and maintain over 600 boiler rooms in a range of buildings including schools, hospitals, offices and sheltered housing schemes.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Terrible service provided by them since they were first contracted by Orbit South. But worst of all, boiler is currently broken, we've got a house full of children and no heating or hot water, going on for 3 days now. Under section 11 of the landlord act 1985, boilers are to be fixed within 24 hours...

Appalling. This company is completely unaccountable to anyone, unresponsive, and their call centre staff belligerent, unhelpful and a dead end for any reported issues, their standard line being that the issue is being "reviewed by a contract administrator". Without heating for over a month. It took several visits and no-shows to diagnose then re-diagnose the same problem without attempting to fix the issue. Still not fixed after a further no-show with no communication or warning this morning. Avoid at all costs.

Not sure if Google is purposely requesting for me to write a negative review for BSW.. It took them over 3 weeks to sort out a boiler issue for my vulnerable parents who had no heating/hot water. The job took around 10 minutes to repair. I made countless attempts to speak to them and was fobbed off, lied to, put on mute/hold and hung up on. They arranged 4 different visits, which they cancelled at the last minute (wasting everyone's time). I suppose it was better than last year when the boiler was out of service for over a month in freezing cold conditions.. I don't like leaving negative reviews

What an absolute shocking service. We have been without heating and hot water for 10 days now. Time slot booked for today between 1pm -5pm, did the engineer turn up? No. Did we receive a call? No. Did I try contacting customer service to confirm the visit today? Yes. I was number 43 on both occasions that I called and asked for call back on both occasions. I have still not had a call back three hours after the slot finished.
No wonder you only have 1.6 stars. I would be embarrassed.
I do hope that BSW will be compensating my wife wages for not going to work today.

Not sure why this firm such poor reviews. We've been using for years and more recently to sort out boiler problems. They have improved greatly over the years, receptionists always knowledgeable and helpful, booking easy, and engineers on time and complete jobs, so just wanted to put on record.

I had my boiler serviced by another contractor and was told I needed both a new boiler and radiators. I called BSW for a second opinion and they identified it was only the pump that was at fault. Paul did a brilliant job replacing the pump and now my central heating is working as new again. Just shows you the difference a company with a good engineer such as Paul can make to the end result in respect of both performance and cost. Cannot recommend BSW highly enough.

This organisation provides extremely poor service.
So far I have had to endure:
-Incorrectly booked appointment by customer service team
- Rescheduled appointments by the organisation without informing me (the client) that the appointment has been changed by them without reason. This was really frustrated me as I waited all day for the engineer to only phone in and be told that the appointment had been changed.
- Lack of candour from organisation
- No show engineer and no reason given for missed appointments. I have had 4 appointments where engineers
