Originally based in a small "converted cinema" building in Brockenhurst, Hampshire. Some of the first components manufactured were for the BAC 111 Regional Jet that was produced at Hurn Airport near Bournemouth. Redmayne Engineering currently holds various Prime aerospace as well as other non aerospace company approvals.

Emphasis is placed upon understanding the customer's requirements at the quote stage and more importantly at the contract review stage.
Redmayne Engineering through partnership and growth have established a diverse range of capabilities to support our customer needs, as a result we can support many programs from initial design concepts through to project design, cad cam, machining, assembly, inspection and treatments. This in turn gives the customer a competitive priced product with exceptional quality and quality controls.
We have 2 well equipped assembly facilities; we can supply the simplest of assemblies from machined parts with inserts fitted and also provide riveting and wire locking through to large sub assemblies. We manage the procurement of bought out parts for larger assemblies and arrange final testing before delivery.
Through continuous improvement Redmayne have increased their capability by adding special processes throughout the business. All are either fully approved by Nadcap or our major customers. A group of analysis techniques used in the aerospace and marine industry to evaluate the properties of a material and components without causing damage.
