JAS Timber is a family-run, independent Timber Merchant based in the North-West. Established in 1977 we have grown to supply Joiners, Builders, Businesses, Local Authorities, Hospitals, Schools and DIY enthusiasts. We supply Timber, Timber Products, Doors, Stairs, Hardware and Bespoke Joinery in Lancashire and the Northwest and can provide same-day or next-day van delivery on many of our products - a little longer to go further afield by carrier or haulier.
In our Joinery Workshop, we are able to manufacture bespoke items for domestic or commercial use, such as Open and Closed-Tread Staircases, Alternator / Spacesaver Stairs, Kite-Winder Stairs, Windows, Door Casings and Door-Frames, Yard Gates, Driveway Gates, Kitchens and Furniture, as well as smaller items like Plinth Blocks and Wall Pattresses, in Softwood, Hardwood, Oak and MDF.

On offer is a selection of the Pine and Dark-Hardwood Mouldings and Beadings that we source, from Richard Burbidge, Cheshire Mouldings and Masons Timber. We also stock our own Period Timber Mouldings machined by independent importers in the North-West. In our own Joinery Workshop we machine Square-Corner Bead, Flat Stripwood-Bead, Round-Edge Cover-Moulds, Plinth-Blocks and Pattresses for our own stock, in Softwood, Dark Hardwood and White-Oak.

If you're reading this and going to place an order over the phone/online don't bother. I used Jas Timber earlier in the year and was impressed with the service and products but my recent experience is probably the worst experience I've had with any business.
Placed order on the 13th July via email asking for a quote, no response so I phoned and phoned and phoned getting every excuse you can imagine as to why they (James) couldn't send me a quote. I was finally told on the 28th July that my order would be completed the following week by James. I phone up today (5th August) for an update only to
