Hi, we are Kelly and Jay, and are the owners of Jelly Beans Day Nursery which is situated in a quiet location, just off Chilwell Lane next to the new Baxter Green development. After both being full time working parents ourselves, we understand how important it is to find excellent childcare. This led us to start Jelly Beans Childcare in 2015 which was initially started from our home.
We have an array of activities and entertainment to keep our Jelly beans kids happy and entertained each and every day. Our baby room has been set out for that of our younger children including non-mobile babies, cruisers, and early walkers. We have chosen one of our biggest rooms with plenty of natural light and space to offer various invitations to play at baby levels.
I cannot rate Jelly Beans day nursery highly enough. Our little boy has been attending since he turned one and I returned to work and I genuinely love dropping him off in the morning as I know how much he loves it and how much they love him. They do so much with the children and they're always delighted to see us in the morning and when we pick him up in the afternoon.
We are a nursery that strives to be outstanding for both children and staff. We have a lovely team of people that work amazing together and have a "One Team" approach. We are based in a semi rural area with beautiful surroundings and provide a home from home environment for all.
We are looking for someone that is passionate about a learning through play and curiosity approach and knowledge of the Hygge and Curiosity Approach would be beneficial however full training can be given.Please see the list below for more information on our current openings.

Cant recommend Jelly beans enough, having worked at 2 other nurseries I can say by far that this place is something special! Not only as a place of work for myself but a childcare provider for my children. My daughters who are 1 and 4 settled into their new nursery straight away and have enjoyed it so much that I then ended up applying for a job here. All the girls are amazing with the children and it is like one big happy family. Kelly and Jay are fantastic owners and the nursery grows every day constantly outdoing itself.

Our 7 year-old son has had a great time at Jellybeans' after-school club. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and they've been very accomodating with occasional day changes and bike pickups etc. The cabin out back for the older kids is great - there's always loads of activities and the staff make a real effort. Great experience, highly recommended.

Brilliant nursery! leaving my son for the first time with people other then family was really hard, but the staff made me feel at ease and my son started to settle in. Lovely communication between staff and parents, also very accommodating when I’ve got to pick up extra shifts I know I can give jelly beans a shout if I’m need of childcare. Would definitely recommend this nursery to any friend or family member. Look forward to seeing my son progress in this loving environment.

This is a lovely setting to work at, and I love coming into work every day to not only see my work colleagues but also the children that we as nursery practitioners have helps to develop into their own individual characters. I have been given some wonderful opportunities and the support from both management has been amazing. I can’t wait to continue onto this adventure and also to see what the future holds, we truly are one big family.

Such an amazing place to work and the staff are incredibly friendly, the children have a great time every day exploring, learning and discovering new things whilst working on the activities that we set. I would strongly recommend jelly beans for you to send your children to as we always endeavour to do our best. Seeing the children return with a smile is always a comforting feeling knowing they enjoy coming to the nursery.
