Well, this is a little awkward. The vast majority of photographers that I've met hate being in front of a camera (me included), and I guess it goes hand-in-hand that they don't like talking about themselves too much either! One of my business short-comings is that I shudder at the thought of self-promotion, which is something of an issue when you're running your own business.
But check out my Facebook and Instagram pages, anyway! See what I did there? Shoehorning in my social media links? I may not use them much, but I still love getting new likes and followers! I am open to collaboration with magazines, web portals, creative agencies and anyone who is close to the charming world of wedding photography.

My name is Charlie; I love a good quote and I have a terrible memory! For me, the photographs I take of my family and important events in our lives are already so important, and will only increase in value as the years march on. So; what to say about me? I'm not going to tell you I love photography and that I picked up my first camera whilst I was still in the womb, because that's a given.
Every photographer has a certain style which we like to think sets our work apart from others. It's nice to use words that describe your work, but at the end of the day they're just words, and anyone can use them! Nothing truly describes one's work better than the images themselves.
As the saying goes, a picture speaks a thousand words, so as a prospective client, you're really best off having a good look through the body of work and forgetting about the fancy chat! What you'll see in my work is much more 'hands-off' than many other reportage photographers. Other than in the group shots, I don't get involved.

Thank you SO much! They are spectacular and capture the feel of the day perfectly. So emotional going through them all and some of the best photos of the children The little video is amazing! What is the track you've used? We love it. We had such a magical day and both you and Mario are undoubtedly the stealth bombers of photography as we're barely knew you were there.
Except for very rare circumstances, I always use a second shooter at the weddings I photograph. There is one simple reason for this: more complete coverage for you. I can't be in two places at once - that is a fact that has plagued me my whole life!
With a second shooter, you get groom prep as well as bride prep even if they're in different locations; you get front and back coverage during the ceremony without having a photographer making a fuss by moving around a lot; you get much more complete guest coverage during the reception, especially when I'm occupied during the group photos, and you get different perspectives during the couple shoot, the speeches and the dancing in the evening.

Thanks for considering me to photograph your big day! Wedding photography is an investment; it's something you're going to keep forever and share with your children one day. When choosing your photographer, I recommend looking past the words, and trusting in what your heart is telling you about the images.

Charlie photographed our wedding and did an amazing job. He and Mario captured the day so well. We love his style of avoiding formal, posed photos and finding beautiful reportage shots that tell the real story of the day.
All of the correspondence before the day was very easy and Charlie was very friendly and relaxed with us and our guests.
Highly recommended.

Charlie, looking at the photos again from June - WE ARE BLOWN AWAY! We stayed up to late looking at the photos over and over and over! We waited for perfection…and you DELIVERED! HOW do you do it?! Each photo is spectacular. Your unique spin on photography really sets you apart from so many photographers! We knew we had to have you as part of our special day. You told our story with the photos so perfectly. We were able to relive our wedding day once again and did not want the photos to end :(
Thank you so so so so so so so much! 10 out of 10! No actually, 11 out of 10!!

We found out about Charlie through our wedding venue and loved his reportage style and eye for dramatic moments. We were not disappointed: The pictures he captured from our wedding were absolutely stunning, from the preparations through to the dancing at the end, he has brought our day back to life for us and our guests. Loved also that there was no excessive posing or any intrusion on our enjoyment of the day. Bravo! The service has also been thoroughly professional and without any stress or disappointment. Thank you Charlie and Mario.
