Jack & Jills Private Day Nursery

Jack and Jill's is a family owned private day nursery established in 1990. We offer a warm personal and professional service to provide your children with the ultimate care and early years education. We have an experienced team of highly qualified professionals many whom have remained with the nursery 10 years or more.

Your baby will be cared for by experienced practitioners in a warm homely and loving atmosphere which allows them to explore and investigate though play. Care is taken to ensure that sleeping and feeding habits are a continuation of home life. We provide a daily diary and record meals, sleep, nappy changers and babies activities and achievements.

Our toddler area is all about fun and encouraging children to respond with enthusiasm and vigour. This area has been specially designed for small children to enable them to explore their environment freely. We provide a range of activities, sensory equipment and different natural materials that will stimulate and encourage development.

Our Pre-School is equipped to the highest standard to enable the children to access different play and learning experiences. We encourage all children to develop their confidence and independence to be creative, explore and experiment; all activities are planed through observing individual needs. This encourages natural curiosity as learners and develop new skills and competence with number and language ready for the new challenge of school.

We're passionate about outdoor play! We remember when we were able to go exploring in the park, build dens and dams, fight dragons, save the world - and be back home for tea. Nowadays children don't have the same access to outdoor facilities that we had, so we try to recreate the magic in our outdoor play area.
