If you are a renter.... go else where.
Rented for over 6 years with this company. All was ok for the first few years then things changed. Rent increased twice in less than a year, even though they knew it would put us under financial hardship. Refused to accept notice as they wanted a extra months rent out of me. Then lied to ncc council tax claiming they hadnt received notice nor the keys to the property. Luckily i had proof to prove otherwise.

So Ilkeston property service the so called award winning landlord and letting agents of 2012-2013 seemed to go down hill since then and since they have a duty of care to their tenants and there repair obligations state that a priority B is essential within 3 working days ‘and this is the maximum period of time a repair should take’ signed in the inventory by Ilkeston property services and us... I've been looking at getting into property investment for a while now and so have been reading through different websites and forums trying to soak up information. Friendly staff good service, had a dripping tap and was replaced with a brand new one within a few days, I've had no problems with ips at all I would definitely recommend.

UNSAFE HOUSING! Poor service unwilling to do any repairs, say they will call back but never do. They do not stick to tenacy agreements. Extreme damp and complete unsecure garden no gates and all most none existent fencing! Outhouse/brick shed that is collapsing and condemmed that was supposed to be removed 5 years ago! UNSAFE HOUSING!

Agents are extremely rude and unhelpful!! Landlords and those wanting to rent a property through these BEWARE!! Please be careful and any vulnerable adults or children please please completely avoid these! Unless you want to live in a mould invested, asbestos filled, leaky, crumbling house with faulty electrics then avoid at all cost as you will not be able to rectify these issues without becoming homeless!
