Driving lessons from The Driving Training Centre (The DTC) are delivered by fully qualified and Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) registered with the DVSA, we teach both manual and automatic driving lessons, we are based in Edinburgh, but have Driving Instructors covering Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Currie and many more areas in between (see our map of the areas we cover).
We have both male and female Driving Instructors teaching driving lessons in modern reliable cars. Each and every driving lesson is tailored to your individual need, ensuring that progress is made to get you ready for your practical driving test and most importantly, ensure that you are ready for whatever situation arises when you pass.

Services
The DTC believes that teaching you to drive is also about teaching you to be safe. All the pupils who have learnt to drive with The DTC and have passed the driving test have been highly trained to deal with any situation they may face on the road. Our driving instructors are patient; our teaching methods are modern and logical.
Our course covers all 3 aspects of the training. Part 1 - Theory training: 12 hours in total which is done over approx. 2 weeks. This includes a 2 part Theory course and course material. Part 2 - Driving ability Training: 20 hours in total which is done over 4 or 5 weeks. This training is flexible and includes training in our cars- amount varies depending on ability.

If you get the instructor named shoieb... ohhh dont even bother this person swears, bad attitude, make you feel terrible during lesson and always in his mobile phone. he will make you look stupid when you make a mistake as a learner its normal to make mistake! he will use your time to go to garage so he can use the toilet and loves to be late. very unproffesional! swear at the other road users.

I first encountered the DTC leith 2 years ago when I enlisted in their theory test training which was outstanding . And helped me pass my test getting all my questions right and only losing 2 points on the hazard perseption. Like I said this was 2 years ago and being the un organised lazy individual that I am , I only actually got round to starting my driving lessons a couple of months ago. Being 34 i was very nervous as they say the further past 17 you are the longer it takes you to learn.
However I was given the services of Shaiob hopefully correct spelling) by the DTC who was absolutly fantastic

I passed first time with Cheryl. She was so helpful, professional and friendly. I had tried a few driving centres years ago and felt like i was going no where but this time i was making leaps and bounds right away. I have already passed details over to a couple of friends, i couldn't recommend this school more!
