We stayed here just before lockdown and had an awesome couple of days. It rained nearly every day and we didn't care! The owner was kind and friendly with the best taste in art and decor. Beautiful and comfy room and a stones throw from the beach and the lanes. We will be back soon as we loved it there!

Loved this place !
Super comfortable beds, beautiful huge blinds in the room. Super accomodating hosts, omg the breakfast was to die for. I had the salmon on toast every day during our stay. Couldn't get enough of it!
The restaurant recommendations we had, I must say, were a let down but that's no reflection on The Griffin. I think Brighton in general just has the worst fish and chips on offer in the UK.
Sadly, the hot tub in our room wasn't working properly so we kindve missed out on that. But the bath is just huge and gorgeous. There was a speaker in the room where you can sit your phone on

We have just had a weekend at the Griffin and we couldn't have chosen better! The location is fab, lovely and clean, the bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was lovely! Chris and Kieran were the perfect hosts! We will definitely be staying here again! And would recommend the Griffin to anyone thinking of staying in Brighton!

Oh my! Where do I even begin to praise this amazing guest house?! We went to Brighton for the first time, on the weekend celebrating my birthday. Was a bit nervous to be honest, I'd usually stay at a hotel, didn't know what to expect, if the pictures I've seen online were showing the reality or they just had a really good photographer. Since this place had the highest praises and most fabulous reviews decided to give it a try, and I have made the best decision in doing so.
This house is gorgeous! The hosts are amazingly friendly people. Since we arrived we've had a warm welcome, made us feel like

Our first time to Brighton and the Griffin, and we will most definitely be back to both!! Service was excellent, breakfast was made-to-order and so delicious and filling it left you energized to explore the city. Amazing location, quiet street but right in the heart of everything. We were made to feel right at home. Also were recommended some great places to eat and drink, which did not disappoint. My husband and I have decided that visiting Brighton, and the Griffin, will become and annual end-of-summer tradition from now on. STAY HERE! You will not regret it.
