Services
Although Jon's Cakes as a business is new, the baker himself certainly isn't, Jon has had a passion for baking and providing top quality catering for several years. Having grown up in a big family he understands the importance of good food. Having left school he spent a few years at college qualifying as a restaurant chef, gaining plenty of experience in pubs, hotels and chain restaurants exploring the management side as per his studies.

Icing is decorated to your choice, but please note that icing figures or features will cost extra depending on the size and detail.
Great for if you're a beginner, wanting to top up your knowledge or just a fun day out for those who enjoy baking and being creative! On this course we will be teaching you how to shape, level, fill, crumb coat and ice the shaped cake. The class will cover how to get a smooth, professional finish and also how to add air brush detail for extra texture and depth.

Jon recently made a 30th birthday cake for my husband's birthday. It was themed around the film the Emperor's New Groove so Jon had to create characters for the cake that mirrored those from the film. He did this perfectly. The cake looked fantastic, was absolutely delicious and Jon was so lovely, professional and creative. The end result was a work of art. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a celebration cake!

Jon was recommended to me by another baker, we were looking for something special for our mums 60th, the only thing she said she wanted was a great cake (no pressure!). Luckily the cake looked absolutely amazing and Jon did the most wonderful job with great service through Instagram. I was nervous it wouldn’t taste good considering how fabulous it looked but it was so delicious 🤤 my mum loved the cake and detail and we’ll deffo be going back to Jon for future cakes!! ❤️

Jon’s cakes are absolutely brilliant! Jon and Lisa have made our wedding cake (a huge cake jar tower!), baby shower cake and christening cake. Each cake has been beautiful, everyone comments at how amazing they look and their attention to detail is incredible! Always so tasty too! Would definitely recommend to anyone. I discovered Jon's Cakes by chance a couple of years ago. I needed a cake for my sons 21st Birthday so I did a random search on Facebook. The cake that was created absolutely blew me away and trust me I am very picky! The detail was incredible, just exactly what I asked for. This made the cake very personable for my son. Not only was the cake visually outstanding the taste was also amazing! The crazy thing was I ordered this cake very last minute and expected a rush job but it was far from that, it was beautiful.
