J&J Motors Est in 2015 located in Newtownards on the Portaferry Road started out as waste ground. We as a family have always had a passion for cars and started of with selling cars from our home as a hobby. Over time we began to think of where we could get a site to trade from. When our site on the Portaferry Road became available we knew this was where we wanted our family business to be.
Work on the site started almost immediately and the building was put up in just two days. To turn around waste ground to an independent car dealership in just 6 weeks it was definitely an all hands-on deck project. The name behind J&J Motors comes from our children Jordan and Jessica, both of which work here.

Everybody is welcome at our service centre conveniently located onsite at J&J Motors in the heart of the Ards Peninsula, opposite Londonderry Park. We take customer service very seriously and aim to go that extra mile for our customers. We can collect and deliver your car upon request. We have a large work shop with a certified car ramp enabling us to repair and maintain your vehicle with ease, no job is to big nor too small for our team.
When a car is 4 years old it legally needs to go through a MOT test so that it is certified legally and safe to drive. Without MOT a car cannot be tax nor insured. Here at J&J Motors we want to take the hassle out of preparing your car for MOT. We will book your MOT test and take your vehicle to the test centre for you upon request.
It is very important that your vehicle is fitted with good tyres and that they have the correct tread as they are your only contact with the road and can affect steering, braking and acceleration. It is also equally as important that tyres are even, and measure the correct tyre pressure. We offer many different types of tyres.

Recently bought a VW Scirocco from these guys and have to say I'm absolutely delighted. Fantastic customer service from Jessica in the office. Had a small mix up with the spec of the car which Stuart the owner sorted out without question. Thankfully I haven't had any problems with the car but I'm pretty sure based on previous experience they'll sort it out no problem. Highly recommended. Would buy again from them tomorrow :-)

Purchased my car from them a while ago and initial thoughts were that they were friendly outgoing and willing to help. There was a problem with the car, which I felt was a fuel related issue. After the usual exchange of words with the owner and his mechanic nothing was investigated and in the end I just said fair enough lets leave it at that and walked out. Just recently had my car serviced and it turned out to be simply a fuel filter that looked as if it has never been changed. It was solid black with dirt and starting to collapse, causing the fuel to stop flowing now and again. I was told the

Recently purchased a Lovely Little VW POLO for my son Fraser, looked around numerous garages to find the best deal as you would. If you want to look at a used car without a pushy typical second-hand car salesman looking over your shoulder and telling you a load of rubbish, then J & J is the place to look. A nice selection of decent cars at decent prices, and the facility to look them over without pressure, have a test drive and so on is so refreshing. The staff are courteous, helpful and attentive without being in your face. Nice.
